I would like to personally thank Doctor Jody Corey Bloom for being the wonderful and compassionate lady that she is.

Doctor Bloom is the absolute best at what she does. My brother had only seen her a few times at clinic and when I went with him on his third trip from Oregon to the San Diego’s HD clinic the staff was having a birthday party for one of the staff members. Bob walked out of the waiting area and into the staff room with me following him just trying to get him back to the waiting area. He walked through the double doors and instead of asking him to leave when he walked in Doctor Bloom asked him to join them. She then put her arm around his shoulder and danced him over to the cake. She knew his name, she said, Hello Bob and with a warm and lovely smile. I must say I was taken back. This specialist who see’s how many people, remembered Bob and made him feel special. She was also free with her time to talk HD with me that day and many times since. I have to say her compassion is real and her expertise is unmistakable. I really do respect her and wish there were so many more like her willing to give freely as she does to HD families.
